Silicon carbide heat exchanger block

CORESIC® SP silicon carbide heat exchange block are made by direct isostatic pressing and pressureless sintering. The heat exchanger between the two media is achieved through the hole walls of the vertical and horizontal holes. The aperture size can be designed according to the design requirements, the minimum aperture can reach 6mm, and the minimum hole wall thickness can reach 2.5mm.

• CORESIC® SP silicon carbide heat exchange block are subjected to strict size, water pressure resistance (20BAR), air pressure resistance (15BAR), and surface fluorescence penetrating inspections.

Specification

• At present, the maximum size of the outer diameter can reach 500mm, and the height can reach 400mm.

• By the end of 2021, the maximum outer diameter can reach 500mm and the height can reach 400mm.

• The hole size ranges from 6mm-30mm, and the hole wall thickness is 2.5-5mm.

• The shape and sealing method of the heat exchanger block hole are customized according to customer drawings.
