CORESIC® RBS Reaction bonded silicon infiltrated silicon carbide (SiSiC), by Slip Casting

 

Material Characteristics

Select different particle size silicon carbide powder as raw materials, the introduction of organic carbon sources or inorganic carbon sources, and deionized water, dispersant, binder, etc. for dispersion ball milling, the production of high solids, low viscosity, good mobility, good suspension of uniform silicon carbide slurry injected into the design of the gypsum molds, the use of capillary force dehydration, and gradually get the curing of green body, drying, in the 1600-1700 ℃ of the atmosphere of the vacuum for the penetration of the silicon-reactive sintering, density is generally greater than 3.03g/cm3, free silicon content is generally less than 15%.
