Silicon carbide square beam changes high temperature furnace structure

In the industrial furnace industry, the demand for reliable and durable refractory materials has always been a top priority. That’s where silicon carbide square beams come into play. Manufactured through extrusion and high-temperature sintering, these beams are designed to bear heavy loads and provide structural support in a variety of industrial kilns.

Silicon carbide square beams find their applications in kiln roofs, as well as on kiln cars carrying products, in shuttle kilns, tunnel kilns, roller kilns, and more. They are widely used in industries such as process ceramics, electronic ceramic powders, sanitary ware, everyday ceramics, electrical ceramics, refractory materials, foam ceramics, and lithium-ion battery materials, just to name a few.

One of the key features of these beams is their high strength, which has been tested using a standard 70MPa bending strength testing machine. This stringent testing ensures their reliability and safety. The exceptional strength of these beams allows for a smaller cross-section compared to traditional recrystallized silicon carbide (R-SiC) square beams, without compromising their load-bearing capacity. Additionally, they can withstand higher temperatures during operation.

Silicon carbide square beams also exhibit excellent chemical resistance, allowing them to work effectively in corrosive atmospheres and ionized environments. This resistance translates into a longer service life, making these beams a cost-effective choice for kiln applications.

Another advantage of silicon carbide beams is their remarkable oxidation resistance. They can operate stably even in oxidizing atmospheres, boasting an extended lifespan compared to alternative materials. This resilience ensures sustained performance, even under challenging conditions.

If you’re looking for a refractory material that can withstand high temperatures, and corrosive environments, and provide long-lasting support in industrial kilns, silicon carbide square beams are the answer. Trust in their exceptional strength and reliability, and experience the difference they can make in your high-temperature furnace operations.
