Silicon carbide tubesheet

CORESIC® SP silicon carbide tubesheet is formed by isostatic pressing and is sintered under high temperature, and is assembled with Coresic® SE silicon carbide heat exchange tubes to form a silicon carbide tubular heat exchanger, which is mainly used for high temperature, high pressure and strong corrosion conditions. The sealing method can be designed according to the design requirements, and the thread can be processed.

Features and advantages

• CORESIC® SP silicon carbide tubesheet has a dimensional accuracy of ±1.0mm and a thickness of ±0.1mm. It can also be fine finished according to customer requirements with higher accuracy.

• CORESIC® SP silicon carbide tubesheet has comprehensive corrosion resistance. It can be used in sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, hydrofluoric acid and various mixed acids, and its life span is much longer than graphite and metal materials.

• CORESIC® SP silicon carbide tubesheet is designed with stepped grooves or threads, and is compressed and sealed by corrosion-resistant materials such as perfluoroether O-rings.

• The hardness of CORESIC® SP silicon carbide tube sheet is second only to diamond, and it can be used under various conditions with particle erosion, and its service life is more than 5 times longer than that of graphite header.

• CORESIC® SP silicon carbide tubesheets are subjected to strict dimensional and surface fluorescence penetrant testing at the factory.

Specification

• At present, the maximum outer diameter can reach 500mm, and it can reach 600mm by the end of 2021.

• The thickness is usually 25-25mm.

• The shape and sealing method of the tube sheet are customized according to drawings.
