Silicon carbide crucible
CORESIC® SP silicon carbide crucible is formed by isostatic pressing and is sintered under high temperature. Round, square crucibles, flat bottom, semi-flat bottom and spherical bottom can be made, and can also be processed with flanges, drilling, etc.
Typical application
-
High temperature calcination ceramic powder.
-
Various molten salts.
-
Corrosive strong acid, strong alkali, oxidant reaction.
-
Molten non-ferrous metals.
Features and advantages
-
CORESIC® SP silicon carbide crucible has a smooth surface due to its sub-micron fine-grained structure and manufacturing process. The roughcast can reach Ra<1.6, which is beneficial to avoid being corroded by the melt.
-
CORESIC® SP silicon carbide crucible has high purity (SiC content is greater than 99%) and will not pollute materials.
-
High temperature resistance-CORESIC® SP silicon carbide crucible has good thermal stability, and can be used up to 1700°C (air atmosphere) or 1950°C (nitrogen or argon protective atmosphere).
-
Excellent thermal shock resistance-due to high thermal conductivity and good thermal shock performance, CORESIC® SP silicon carbide crucibles adapt to rapid changes in process temperature.
-
CORESIC® SP silicon carbide crucible has excellent corrosion resistance even at high temperature and is especially suitable for chemical corrosive environments.
Specification
-
CORESIC® SP silicon carbide crucible can be customized according to customer requirements.
